Terms & Conditions

Last updated: November 1, 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to all appointments booked with Phil The Barber LLC ("Phil The Barber," "we," "us"), a mobile barber service operating in the Philadelphia area and New Jersey. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking

Appointments are booked online through our booking system, powered by Barberly. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation and any required deposit is paid. Please provide an accurate service address, phone number, and any access details (parking, building entry, gate codes) so we can arrive on time.

2. Service Location

We come to you, at your home, office, or event. Please provide a safe, reasonably lit space with access to an outlet. If you don't have a chair, we can accommodate. We may decline or end a service if the location is unsafe or the conditions make it impossible to provide the service properly. Travel outside our usual service area may carry an additional travel fee, which will be shared before you book.

3. Deposits and Payment

A deposit may be required at the time of booking and is processed through our booking provider. The deposit is applied to the total price of your service. The remaining balance is due when your service is completed and can be paid by Apple Pay, Cash App, or Venmo, or by tap-to-pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. Prices shown at booking are subject to change for added services or requests made during the appointment.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By checking an SMS consent box on our website, you agree to receive text messages from Phil The Barber LLC at the number you provided. Appointment messages include booking confirmations, reminders, and updates. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, you may also receive promotions and special offers. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase or of booking.

5. Late Arrivals

If you are not ready at your scheduled time, your service may be shortened so that later clients are not affected, and the full price may still apply.

6. Health and Safety

Please let us know before your service about any scalp conditions, skin sensitivities, or allergies. We may decline to provide a service if a condition makes it unsafe. Tools are cleaned and sanitized between clients. Please reschedule if you or anyone in the service area is feeling ill.

7. Satisfaction

If you are not happy with your cut, please tell us during the appointment or contact us within a reasonable time so we can try to make it right.

8. Limitation of Liability

We take care to provide every service safely and professionally. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phil The Barber LLC is not liable for minor cuts, irritation, or reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions or allergies, for damage to property not caused by our negligence, or for any indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.

9. Photos

We may ask to photograph your finished cut for our portfolio or social media. We only post photos with your permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to bookings made after the "Last updated" date.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law rules.
